Hubby brought us home
Chipotle for dinner, with
some surprise cheesecake!

Setting up new hard
drive. Old-new drive made some wee
bad clicking noises.

While re-installing
apps, watched Notes on a Scandal.
Very good movie!

I like Cate Blanchett
a lot. Pretty, talented,
and trés versatile.

My cake is yummy!
The strawberry really adds
a tasty surprise.

Work outing to a
bakery today! CakeLove -
cake decorating.

Assembled a six-
inch cake - white and chocolate
cakes - four layers tall.

Chocolate butter-
cream, with a few strawberries
stuffed in the middle.

Learned lots of good cake
assembling tips. Chill and clean
the cake. Clean? Who knew?

Oscar soirée day!
Making fun (?) food including
ratatouille! Strange?

Also, chili and
cornbread and "Surf's Up Crab Dip."
And a frou-frou drink.

It all took a long
time to prepare - but seemed to
turn out okay, I think.

Bill brought two yummy
desserts. Chocolate bells - they
where perfectly shaped!

The Oscars were fine.
Kinda long, but Jon Stewart
was funny, I thought.

Terry, luckily,
won our pool. Thank god! He's not
that fond of losing.

The swag bag (basket)
went over well. And we got
ones, too! Fun fun fun.

party tomorrow. Today
shopped for swag bag treats.

Found all sorts of fun
little things. Not quite the same
as the real ones, thogh.

But, fun, I hope! Watched
Michael Clayton. Haven't seen
many of the noms.

It was good - drama
with some suspense. Well acted.
Clooney's a cutie.

longest day. It just went on
and on, forever.

Shopping at Kohl's with

goodness, yummy warm.

last two eps of Alias.
Sad it'll be done.

P.S. So sad that
Jack died, but happy that Vaughn
came back in one piece.
