Went to bed late last
night and had to get up for
work bright and early.

Tired aaaaall day! Need
a rest after my rest! Five
whole days this work week.

Worked on haiku book
more tonight - almost done. Worked
on newsletter, too.

Hopefully more sleep
this eve, a fewer yawnies
tomorrow. Night night!

Last day of extra
long weekend. Boo! Today's the
day for chore-like stuff.

Dishes, groceries...
laundry? We'll see. Dinner, too.
Easter Day tacos!

Haiku Volume 2
is shaping up nicely. Lots
of little changes.

Printed colored proofs.
Colors are going to look
great! Fun! Flowery!

Won't be ready to
publish tonight. Hopefully

Uh oh! Duke lost! Don't
dear yet to venture downstairs,
but I heard a noise.

So, I think he must
be okay! Hopefully he
will come upstairs soon.

Five o'clock! Had a
little snack. Now it's about
time to catch a nap.

Alright! Two-thirty
a.m. Race starts pretty soon.
Wide awake... for now.

My pool picks suffered
some major hits earlier
this eve. No big shock.

Gafaffle on track
during quali - Lewis dropped
five spots on the grid.

Four to nine - mid-pack.
Hope he can pass any Lap
One, Turn One shake up.

Spring's here! But today
saw some sleet and snow - not much.
Pretty chilly now.

Drinking tea to help keep warm,
wrapped in a blankie.

Spent more time on Vol.
2. Hope to publish, order
by end of Sunday.

Dexter Season Two
wrapped up. Lila was nuts, and
feel bad about Doakes.

Great show, great season.
New eps this year. Decided
Dex is not that cute.

Uh-oh, starting to
feel sleepiness creeping in.
I must not lie down.

Okay... well.... laid down
and dozed off for a short time.
Didn't miss too much.

Came upstairs and got
ready for bed - will watch the
rest (four laps, now) here.

The next race is in
two weeks, back at the normal
time - seven a.m.

Looks to be Kimi's
race! Passed Massa awhile
back, and that was that!

(Something seems to have
happened to Massa while I
was out - don't know what.)

One lap left - Kimi
first, Lewis fifth. Freddy who?
Woohoo, Kimi's won!

Four-thirty. Nap woke
me up, but should be able
to fall back to sleep.

(My haiku sure have
become rambling, huh? More for
me to read later :)

Is today Friday?
Saturday? Sunday? Who knows!
Went to Weight Watchers.

Got it done - won't go
tomorrow. Can sleep in! What
to do with my day?

Hubby off to a
friend's. I think I'll start with lunch.
What will the day hold?

So far, the day has
held a long nap and a big
tourney upset. Mine!

Second big upset -
this time in hubby's favor.
Very good first round.

Worked on Haiku Vol.
2. Mid-Sept thru mid-Nov.
Ready for proofing.

Two a.m. - time for
Quali! Let's home Kimi does
better than last week.

Kimi, Lewis - both
into Quali 3. Still up!
Thirty minutes left.

Proofed Haiku Vol 2.
Small changes to make. Trying
something different.

Using backgrounds with
flower patterns - colored, too.
Hope it looks okay.

Watched some Dexter when
not watching b-ball. Season
Two - good! Two eps left.

Mass on pole. But
Kimi's next to him. Lewis
is the second row.

Very late! Time to
hit the hay. Think I'll sleep in
a bit come morning.

First day of Tourney!
Worked out, hung out in office.
Terry got great snacks.

Worked on blog updates
while watching games. One of my
sheets is doing fine.

Eight games still to go
tonight. Lost comes on soon. I'm
patiently waiting.

Hubby's hollering
at the Duke players. I wish
they would just listen!

Lost was good. Aaron
IS one of the O-Six. No
new until April.

Woke up for woot and
practice. Watched some of practice
and then went to sleep.

go with new laptop! Planned to
get on Saturday.

But, found a nice one
for a nice price today. It's
twenty-two inches.

It's great! Colors look
bright. Can fit lots on the screen.
Very happy - yay!

few shamrocks to work :)

Yesterday marked the
start of my eighth month of this
wee haiku project.

Worked on updating
my blog tonight - fallen a
little bit behind.

Had a nice morning.
Slept in 'til eight - woke up and
read. Breakfast in bed.

Finished The Double
Bind (was good) and then napped. Got
up and used new sneaks.

Very relaxing!
Not my usual Sunday :)
Four-day weekend soon...

Catching up - 03/16/2008

Happy almost St. Patrick's Day :) I am going to try to get my haiku caught up - at least some of it - starting with February 19th. I hadn't realized it's been almost a month... may not get it all done tonight. Will try!

First F1 race of
the year! Australia. Started at
twelve-thirty a.m.

Really, it's Sunday,
but I haven't slept, so it
counts as Saturday :)

Kimi started in
fifteen, but was to eighth by
the end of lap one.

(Weight Watchers, hair cut,
errands today. Bought P.J.
pants in Razz Fizz! Cute!

Maintenance tonight.
Not too bad. Made small booboo.
Whoops. Well, it happens.)

Kimi in third. We're
thirty-five laps in. Should change
tyres, gas-up, soon.

(Wore Do the Math to
work. Received Cool Breeze. Will wear
the Unicorn soon.

Bought new running shoes
at the mall. Brooks. Pretty blue
and white. Feel good, too.)

Kimi still hasn't
pitted. Race half way done. Oh
no! He over-breaked.

Starting to get a
wee bit sleepy. Can't lie down!
Must stay sitting up.

So... decided that
lying down wasn't too bad...
and dozed off, of course.

Missed a bit - awoke
for the interviews. Kimi
didn't reach the end.

Exciting for a
first race. Malaysia is soon.
Next weekend, in fact!

He was very good -
funny and interesting.
Great tips and stories.

Stopped at the mall - found
some cute Jibbitz for our Crocs.
Had a pretzel, too.

Happy to get home!

entry for today. Lots

First. Woot. Shirts. Have I
mentioned Woot shirts? Vandalized
Turtle? Swim Nessie?

A new shirt at 1
each morning. On the weekend,
they're contest winners.

This weekend, there were
two I wanted. And today
they went together.

And sold out in ten
minutes. And I didn't check
until one-thirty.

So, I missed them. Argh!
Two for ten! Now it will be
two for thirty. Sigh.

Off to photo class
in Annapolis. Staying
at the Sheraton.

(That's where the class is.)
First day for beginners. But,
I'll learn stuff, I'm sure.

Lunch at the mall. What
a nice mall! Lots of great stores.
A whole Crocs kiosk!

No time today to
look at Jibbitz - tomorrow
I'll go back to look!

Learned a few good things
in class. But ready for a
nap. Checked into room.

Nice room. Nice hotel.
Bed linens look comfy (my
first criteria :)

Just hanging out. Free
wifi rules. Set up 'puter,
brought out camera.

Room service for grub!
Sandwich, soup, fries, cake, wine. Not
cheap. But very good!

Quality service
here. Very pleasant. Nice soaps
in the loo, also.

Got up early this
morning. Probably early
to bed, tonight. And...

Daylight Saving is
tonight. We lose an hour.
So early this year!

Watching 'Pider Pig'
(The Simpsons) on my laptop.
Lots of funny stuff!
